How We Are Collectively Evolving Through The Corruption & Gigantic Egos of Trump and Putin

As a collective we have chosen to evolve through these times. So let’s look deeper here in terms of understanding what we’re dealing with, what we ourselves are learning through experiencing their open corruption, and how we can navigate in a way that truly elevates our lives.
UNDERSTANDING THESE TIMES
Let’s start with a definition of ego. The Ego is the part of us that operates out of fear, and mainly focuses on what is OURS. (While it is a big part of what pushes us to grow, it is also where we have very limited awareness.) Trump and Putin have gigantic egos. Their egos are so big that any amount of hypocrisy is unnoticed, other’s suffering is of no concern (unless it’s in their interest), and everything is ultimately about power over others (for their own personal gain).
For example, if Putin cared for others, he would dedicate Russia’s resources towards making people’s lives better - through improving education, using technology for the greater good, and building an economy that serves the Russian people. INSTEAD, he controls the masses and steals resources from others. Putin controls Russians' internet access (what they can view), their media (what they can watch), and even their journalists are state controlled (repeating what he wants his people to believe). He puts wealth into his own hands (200 billion that he has “made” while being president and stealing money from his people).
Putin has openly murdered those who speak out against him, as well as imprisoned and killed his political opponents who dare to put themselves up for election. He has also imprisoned Navalny's lawyers for sharing information about him to the outside world, and he imprisons and murders journalists that write the truth. Putin had the Russian constitution changed to keep him in office for three decades. It's power for his own sake, because once you’ve crossed that bridge and made enemies, what is left but to remain in power? Once you've empowered billionaires to control the government and the people, what power remains to change things?
Then there’s Trump. I’ll review his Human Design chart in another article, but he is literally designed to be seen as a leader by those who align with his values, and he dominantly focuses on acquiring resources without any integrity to guide him. He doesn’t care about what is truth or what is a lie. It is literally all about power and the accumulation of wealth, and he’s willing to acquire more of it through threats and bullying, through lying, assigning blame, and encouraging hatred. Like Hitler, Trump says, “the reason you have problems is (these other people).”
What’s strange is that Trump and his people do exactly what they falsely criticize others for. He blames Biden for “stealing an election,” that Trump himself was trying to steal. Trump's people falsely claim that their voices are suppressed (because violence is not protected under the first amendment) while he actively seeks to silence voices of dissent (he even threatens, fires, or pressures the removal of all judges that disagree with him). He pardons January 6th people who attempted a coup and acted violently, while arresting college students simply because they participated in peaceful protests OR for writing an opinion in their college newspapers speaking out against the war in Gaza. (In Trump's democracy, you only have a a voice if you agree.) He has just shut down agencies like Voice of America (a U.S. government funded radio broadcast est. 1942, that exists to offer news to people in other nations that lack press freedom or independent journalism. Because Putin and Trump are not fans of the truth, or access to real information). He claims that there is "fake news," while he lies a million times more than any other public figure, and calls news organizations that report what is happening, "illegal". He calls other people corrupt, but he will accept money from anyone seeking favors and uses the presidency to profit in business – something that ABSOLUTELY creates conflict of interest. His actions are in his best interest alone.
TRUMP'S U.S. FOREIGN POLICY SERVES TRUMP & PUTIN'S BEST INTEREST
Perhaps what is most important to understand about the United States, Russia, and Ukraine, is that most of Trump's business ventures have been dominantly funded by Russia. He also has several ties to Putin as well as a lot of Russian investors. He has publicly defended Putin's policies, including the killing of opponents, and he has praised Putin's leadership. Trump seeks to expand U.S. ties to Russia, to help Russia take land from Ukraine, and to help Putin recover sanctioned money.
Trump's statements on acquiring Canada (and Greenland!) are horrifying, but even moreso that he then attacks their economy by slapping them in the face with a 25% tariff (having previously partnered with them in a free trade agreement, which integrated our goods into many of their industries). Trump's treatment of ALL of our allies is shameful. These are countries who's people have fought and died along side us in war, because the United States asked them to show up. This is a disgusting treatment of friends, and it is solely for the advancement of Trump's authoritarian and imperialistic goals.
Interestingly, his tariff threats come at a time when Trump can openly accept money from anyone (= bribes). This is not fake news. Please research the ways in which Trump accepts payments (directly to himself) in the video below. This is literally openly discussed on the senate floor.
Please educate yourself on where your money is now going, thanks to Trump and Musk. Our country is not "saving" money because of DOGE; Musk works to thwart every agency meant to serve the American people (while his actions are being sold to people as "cost-cutting efficiency"). But Trump's aim is to obscure facts, take money and power away from the people, and to remove oversight. American resources are now for sale, and you can purchase favors OPENLY by paying Trump DIRECTLY. This isn't fake news; this is what is happening. Please watch the following video (and if any Republican can offer a direct point by point response that could possibly demonstrate how this serves the American people – please feel free to share it).
THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN ASLEEP IN THIS COUNTRY.
There are people in our country willing to buy into (and excuse) hatred and corrupt behavior, all while believing they have a moral imperative (which they do not) and insight into improving the economy and the country (which they do not). There are people who have been so asleep, they think calling someone "awake" is an insult. Trump followers have cared so little about democracy, they elected someone who previously attempted a coup.
It's important to note that a wonderful opportunity-driven economy absolutely exists in capitalism, but NOT in unrestricted capitalism wherein the government empowers monopolies and corrupt behavior. Please watch the movie “Food Inc 2” to see the impact of monopolies on the very food you put in your body. I digress.). If Trump or Putin had an ounce of ingenuity, they would invest resources in a way that helps people to thrive. Instead they put wealth and power in the hands of a few, and use corrupt means to silence, suppress, and diminish everyone else.
So what on earth, are we here to learn through this? WHYYYY, is this about how we evolve collectively? Let's start with looking at the ripple effect throughout the world, before we talk about what we are learning as individuals.
POTENTIAL WAYS THE CORRUPTION OF TRUMP LEADS TO GROWTH WORLDWIDE:
Firstly, there are other incredibly corrupt (ginormous egos) out there in world leaders such as Putin. Russia wants to stop it’s unpopular war, yet Putin wants to “win,” through holding onto parts of Ukraine. Putin will not let go of power without personal gain, and (though the democrats would never have allowed such a violation of another nation’s sovereignty) Trump seeks to serve Putin’s goals. Strangely this may set the rest of the world on the right track - let's dive deeper.
Trump’s approach won’t serve Ukraine’s interest or the state of democracy worldwide, but that impact leads to other outcomes. For instance, Trump has unintentionally empowered the rest of the world to unite and develop their own military advantages. Europe is taking a stand together. Many nations are now feeling a resilient pride in being forced to develop an independence from U.S. involvement and trade, and that will drive new solutions in their industries and economies. There are further challenges that will come from this divisive time (and further conflict from Russia) but for now there are people being empowered to look at what really matters to them, and to focus on what is important.
This is all coming at a time when populism (and anti-immigrant sentiment) has been on the rise worldwide. Please take the time to read this article and be aware of what corruption leads to. When you are willing to accept diminished rights and authoritarian rule for some, your rights will diminish as well.
In an unexpected way, the open corruption in which Putin and Trump operate may set other nations on more democratic tracks. As well, though Trump is literally destroying long-standing foundations of our democracy and the checks and balances our country is founded on, that may eventually inspire American people to value democracy more, to value each other more, and to unite in deeper ways.
Trump may ruin our economy in the process, or align our government so holistically with corruption that it will be set on that path. Rot is born of rot - and make no mistake - people who seek to diminish others will experience rot in their lives. In their health, in their relationships, in their unhappiness, and even in financial downfalls to come. They may have money for now, but they also have rot.
But the most important shift occurring on our planet right now, is that we are all learning about what our personal power is. The challenges (that are in our face) are literally here to push us to grow.
WHAT WE ARE LEARNING
Astrologically we are entering a time when we collectively shift away from power being derived through connections, and we are moving into an age where we are driven to act and experience power individually. It will be an age where people will really start looking at what they believe in and how they create, as well as how they connect with their highest self. Now as Neptune moves from Pisces to Aries on March 30th, it heralds a time when a lot of people will be waking up and no longer clinging to old structures to think for them. So it really matters, at this time, what you focus on and what you give energy to.
Over the next 5 months, all of the outer planets are changing signs. Because they move so slowly, even one changed sign creates a generational change of perspective. All of it happening at once means a PROFOUND transformation is underway (that last occurred hundreds of years ago), and historically, this ALWAYS corresponds with huge global shifts in consciousness.
Collectively we have a lot of ego that we are pushing out into the open, in order to evolve it. And here is the pain in the ass part of all of this - Just as some people need to learn about compassion for others, other people need to learn about their personal power.
People absolutely have different access to resources, etc. But what if you came to learn about your individual power, BEYOND the outer circumstances that impact you? And what if - in order to improve things - we need to focus on our personal power in order to achieve.
WE ARE ALL EVOLVING THROUGH THIS TIME OF CHANGE
Here we are with giant egos of authoritarianism taking power for its own sake, hoarding money, spreading hatred and fear, and diminishing the collective.
But conversely there's also the collective ego that lives in fear, scarcity mindsets, and thinks it's powerless in comparison to those with money and those with political power. As a collective we're working on understanding individually, our own PERSONAL power to create.
This time is also about living in integrity with ourselves, and clearing out old habits where give our power away.
AN EXAMPLE FROM MY OWN LIFE
In many companies that I have worked for, as well as when I worked as a manager in federal government during Trump's first presidency (never in support of his agenda, I worked to secure funding and representation for my community) - I have encountered many Trumps. People who prioritize their own gain above what is right, who value money more than how they impact people, and who have no problem stepping on others in order to achieve.
In those situations I have always sought to improve things for everyone (not only to help others elevate their consciousness, but also for the organization to achieve positive outcomes and be in service. I consistently benefitted every organization I was a part of). I can also ABSOLUTELY say that others greatly benefitted from my work without honoring me in return (that is the economy that Trump supports). I can ABSOLUTELY say that I have experienced trespass, sexism, and have been unfairly treated. But what else can I say about those experiences? THANK GOODNESS I had to leave. Through hardship I found new self-awareness, new skills, new confidence, and blessings that I would never have ventured out for if the previous conditions had been tolerable. I would gladly lose money just to separate myself from the toxicity in those situations, and I would gladly lose money again to learn what it has taught me about myself.
Don't get me wrong, there were people who acted out of integrity and they have their own lessons to learn. I am also a firm believer in Civil Rights, and in DEI. Look at how corrupt and closed Trump is to opinions that differ from his - the same is true of people in offices willing to perpetuate behavior that diminishes others. Businesses BENEFIT from diverse perspectives, respect and inclusion. Further, people SHOULD BE protected from businesses and organizations that act illegally.
WE EXPERIENCE CHALLENGES IN ORDER TO GROW
It can be difficult to recover when other people dehumanize you, or believe that you deserve mistreatment. That's hard to overcome, right? As a society we "other," those who are different races, religions, gender identities and sexualities - and people use those differences as reasons that someone else should be treated poorly. I don't mean to minimize that and in my own way I've experienced it; for various reasons it has taken me a long time to feel safe in the world. But -
I want to really speak to a shift in consciousness that starts adapting to new understandings of self (even beyond trauma, beyond other people's power, and beyond our collective history) because we're entering a period where the biggest power there is, is alignment with yourself. Part of that includes inner work, and overcoming what keeps us vulnerable to abuse from the most ignorant amongst us.
That is a really big topic, but my goal in this article is to help people understand that they have power in how they navigate these times. In going through hardship, I learned SO MUCH about awareness, and how I was even a magnet for those experiences and those types of people. I learned about how I could improve my inner state of happiness, my confidence, and live in my life purpose. I realized that I wasn’t honoring myself, I wasn’t honoring my intuition. I was too busy trying to improve things for others to have boundaries around the relationships I invested in. I realized I was giving to others who did not operate in integrity, and hence they did not appreciate what I gave. I wasn’t honoring the value of my time and my work, and I wasn’t open to solutions that the universe wanted to align for me (instead I was staying out of fear and a lack mindset). I received no appreciation for everything I gave because I was misapplying my effort, and I wasn't honoring myself.
I know there are people who will want to respond with "clarifications," that I have been privileged (so let's clarify my experience is different than someone who experiences racism, for example). I also really want to honor that it takes a specific skillset to create beyond the trauma you have experienced (part of which I address in my work). Certainly there are people who are really disadvantaged in this world. If you grew up feeling unsafe or unloved, if people condemn you (for your skin, for your gender identity, etc.) or if you grew up with very limited resources, you can have a harder time accessing opportunities and it can be really HARD to create beyond that. But if you care about personal awareness, then a big part of your life purpose is TO LEARN HOW TO CREATE BEYOND THAT.
And here's the thing - maybe the most important thing to understand about these times - old structures will be taken down. Old belief systems, old companies that resist change, aspects of our government and even our democracy. But through this, we will have a deeper understanding of ourselves, and some of the more primal aspects of human consciousness will start waking up to different ways of being.
For those of us who have had to overcome hardship - you will inherently be a teacher for others (indirectly or directly) and THIS is how we grow and evolve. DOING THE WORK
As human beings we can really try to hold on. We cling to that old job or unhappy relationship because we really resist change. And despite that - change comes all the same. But what if we’re really meant to grow through the challenges we’re given. I will definitely offer further articles that speak more directly to inner growth, including releasing trauma.
Certainly part of our growth happens on the collective level, where we learn to honor each other. Now that so much of the structure of our democracy is being torn down, what if we look for the new collaborations with people who want to build with their heart? I know that can be perceived as privilege, but check out this example of farm workers who organized. What if - through inner alignment - we start opening up to new solutions that present? New companies, new collaborations, new outcomes. New inner awareness of self confidence, higher financial expectations and positive expectations.
Let's start talking about your own personal power, and I want to begin with a simple exercise that can help shift perspective (and even anger!) at this time, so we can instead view our challenges in a way that invites in creative solutions.
OWNING YOUR PERSONAL POWER
In Trump, we have a young soul and GIGANTIC ego, and his corruption unknowingly pushes us to align with greater integrity. A cool exercise to assess that is the process of reflection.
Exercise of Reflection
1. Write out what you are upset about.
(Fill-In-The-Blank person) is doing (Fill-In-The-Blank).
Example: I am upset that Trump is taking my power away.
2. Now rewrite that sentence and substitute your name as both the perpetrator and the victim.
“I am upset that I am giving my power away.”
Or if you are most upset that Trump is silencing those who oppose him, the reflection would be: “I am upset that I am silencing myself.”
If you are most upset Trump is causing you to lose money; “I am upset that I am causing myself to lose money.”
If you are upset that Trump does so many upsetting things: “I am upset that I am upsetting myself.”
If you are upset that Trump acts out of integrity: "I am upset that I am acting out of integrity with myself."
That last one is interesting, right? What we’re learning about is our personal power, and the choices we have in how we focus our energy.
So, what if this is being arranged for your benefit, and for the benefit of others? Not because Trump has actual goodwill, but because these circumstances align for us to expand our awareness. Let’s go deeper and talk about common soul intentions for growth that have a lot of impact at this time.
DIFFERENT COMPONENTS OF PERSONAL POWER:
Speaking Your Truth – A lot of older souls have learning to do in vocalizing their intuition and insights. This includes being willing to upset others by acknowledging what needs to be acknowledged, and in standing up for what you believe in. Speaking your truth doesn’t have to be loud, it doesn't need to be forced, and it really isn’t often accomplished in anger – this is about communicating from your knowingness.
Owning Your Ability To Be Happy – I know life impacts us, our work impacts us, being stepped on impacts us – what if you’re learning about cultivating inner peace and joy? We don’t learn how to do that when the outer world is sunshine and rainbows. We learn how to CULTIVATE joy, when we have to focus on it intentionally DESPITE our current circumstances.
Understanding Your Inherent Worth – We naturally seek to feel affirmed through our family, through our community, and through our relationships. But what we ALL have to cultivate, is honoring and understanding ourselves individually. If you were born to a family that does not honor you, I can guarantee that you have a soul desire to understand your inherent worth (independent of others' affirmation). We learn to truly LOVE ourselves when we HAVE to focus on that intentionally DESPITE our circumstances. And even beyond our family – every way that society does not affirm you is an invitation to honor yourself and KNOW your inherent value. No one can ever take that from you or make you feel less than, unless you don’t fully understand and honor yourself. (I want you to reach a point of consciousness where we just feel pity for those who offer hate. That is the small level of awareness they are coming from. See advice for handling egos below.)
Honoring Yourself – We honor ourselves by trusting ourselves more than anyone else, by having boundaries, and by having expectations to receive. I’ll write so much more on this topic, but if you are looking for others to honor you before you offer that to yourself, that is the backwards route and instead, people will reflect back to you every way you need to grow. We want to stand in our knowingness, in our power, and reflect to others that WE KNOW our own value. The goal is to understand that any ignorance they offer is their own issue, and could not possibly detract from you embodying and understanding your worth. (Boundaries in relationships and trusting where we feel guided to be, are all important factors here).
Releasing Fear – I know that at this time (especially for LBGTQ+ community) there are diminished rights. I also know that racist people have power in this country and that minorities and immigrants are being targeted. This journey is challenging, and one that also teaches faith and trusting your own inner guidance. On the individual level, being different and honoring who you are (internally) elevates everyone’s consciousness and is a path of deeper self-awareness than most people achieve. This doesn’t mean that every door will be open to you; it means that (when you’re internally aligned) you will find and create the right doors. This journey is about KNOWING your worth and your power, and being open to create solutions. When we are able to master fear, then the BIG egos of ignorance don’t have the power. I know that history has said otherwise, but we are entering a time when your own inner alignment will be paramount. There are young souls running around with power – picture them as that. Utterly ignorant children who have been taught hate. What a sad existence that is, and how empty their lives must feel. Be firm in standing your ground (as one would, when trying to guide children who have gone astray) but also stay in love. That’s true power. Everything born of hatred will rot.
Allowing Others To Be In Their Own Experience – This one is also tricky, because we are all creating together. Contributing to others has immense value and it’s obvious that when we work to support others we ALL achieve more. YET, souls choose their experiences and paths of growth, so we can’t ever accurately say what is right for someone else. I know that might be hard to relate to, but souls choose how they want to be challenged, where they’re born, what their family is like, what belief systems they’re given, etc. Even if you tried to - you can’t fully control other’s experiences and guess what? They don’t actually want you to. Three clues you’re not meant to contribute to someone else’s life: when they strongly resist (even what you perceive to be beneficial), when your energy is drained, or when you are put in situations where that is impossible.
Unconditional Love – Learning about love is not about being walked on, but it will require forgiveness. The ego tries to hold onto power through hate and fear, but love is actual power. LOVE is so much more powerful than the ego.
Owning Your Ability To Create - It is very true that we have beliefs and expectations formed in childhood, our life experiences, and our access to education – all of these things impact our experience. But what if we’re learning the difference of dwelling on the problem as opposed to the solution? What if we’re learning about what we create from, what we intend, and what we focus on? What if we’re learning the difference between giving our power away, or creating our lives on purpose?
NAVIGATING THESE TIMES, AND THE EVOLUTION OF OTHER PEOPLE’S AWARENESS
What if we – just like Europe, only internally here in the U.S. – start developing innovative solutions for these times? What if we take pride in ourselves and - instead of feeling powerless - what if we form independent solutions for the challenges in our community? Be that through addressing environmental issues, lack of resources, or lack of services – what if we stand up for what we believe in? What if we spend our money in alignment with our values? And what if we trust exactly what we feel guided to do.
I am always so inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. talking to people in their absolute blindness – what if we too speak the Truth with love and firmness. What if we confidently EMBODY POWER? What if Trump is successfully impeached in two years because he has already demonstrated that he is openly corrupt, and he does not have the right to wield the power of presidency. These are potential outcomes, when we don't feel powerless.
BE AWARE THAT DIFFERENT PEOPLE CONTRIBUTE DIFFERENTLY
I’ve seen inner fighting amongst democrats, and projection. “You don’t care enough.” “You’re privileged.” Blah, blah, blah. If you’re reading this article, don’t get caught up in the noise of that.
Please be aware that some of the most beneficial energy at this time comes from those amongst us who focus internally on peace, on love, and on positive outcomes. Understand that that impacts others, in far more powerful ways than reacting in hate or dwelling in fear.
I often think of people as little cells in the body of Earth. And we all have different focuses. There are people who are like cells in the heart, and naturally focused on love. There are people who are like cells in the stomach, just digesting so much. There are people who are like cells in the throat and they are here to communicate. And then there are people who are like viruses, and don’t care if they kill the whole planet in the process. Trump has virus consciousness - seeking his own power, gaining resources by taking. There will also be people who will act as white blood cells, and attack the virus to save the whole (be that through words, or even holding Trump accountable). But just as a larger part of the body will function in the same way regardless of being infected, there are people who dwell in love who will keep their focus on the highest outcome for all. They don’t need to be mired in the mud, here, ruminating on how individual souls are choosing to evolve through the battle of egos in politics; they feel peace knowing that everyone is growing.
I don’t know yet, where exactly I fit on that spectrum. My soul keeps reminding me (over, and over, and over again) that this is all wonderful and people will be evolving in the ways that they intended to. I see soul intentions expressed in charts all day long, and I am very aware that we live in order to develop consciousness. If I was fully evolved in that regard, then perhaps this article would be solely about empowering people instead of a discussion on politics, yet I want to be very direct in addressing what is out of integrity in our leaders. I also want to acknowledge that at times recently, I have been processing a lot of anger about this - even though I know my soul’s perspective on the growth and beauty in all of it. And interestingly, I feel encouragement from my soul that speaking my truth is ABSOLUTELY part of my contribution right now (just as I encourage you to share your truth, in whatever way feels right for you). And so here is my article, in which I address both the Truth of what is unfolding and the broader perspective of growth in consciousness and love.
IN THESE TURBULENT TIMES, WHAT IF YOU STAND IN YOUR POWER
Mainly, I hope you feel empowered not to give your power away (particularly the power to trust your own intuition in how you lead your life), but also to have a keen eye on the growth areas you’re moving through at this time.
If we stay in the ego/fear perspective, then the Trump’s have the power and we’re blind to the solutions we can build together. If we keep Trump and Putin’s limited perspective on developing resources (that resources are “finite,” and that the only way to create is to take from others) then we’re blind to the resources we have (ingenuity, community, and alignment with the energy that creates worlds – which is love). If we think that we are powerless, we give corrupt leaders our power. And if we make our happiness dependent on these challenges being out of our experience, we given them power over our happiness as well. It is the ego that feels fear and feels limited, so let us shift to our soul awareness.
WE ARE DEVELOPING GREATER AWARENESS THROUGH ALL OF IT
It is important to understand that our collective growth will be an unfoldment, mostly because humans need to experience challenges in order to develop awareness. So our country needs to feel uncomfortable before people embrace change.
I hope you can stay focused on your own personal power and feel guided in how you move forward. Sometimes the simplest thing is the most profound – what if you’re learning to cultivate joy through all of this? What if you’re really being guided, and it’s time to act on what you feel really called to do? What if new companies and organizations are being built that will hold far greater integrity because we experience this? What if the solution you’re creating for your own life, will elevate many other people’s experience? What if you give to others by focusing on your own inner peace? What if it is enough to trust when you feel called to contribute to others and when you don’t, and to trust in what brings you fulfillment and joy.
